The Magic of the Guitar – 5 of 5

Guitar 6

One more thing I would like to share is regarding some similarities and differences between classical and electrical guitars. Every guitar, electric or classical, is basically composed of the same parts. The main differences between them is the fact that the classical guitar uses nylon strings, which are wound on the pins inside grooves in the head, its neck is wider and it uses a different type of wood (the finest one is the Brazilian rosewood). Furthermore, classical guitar may have its sound amplified by the use of external microphones placed on or close to the strings.

The magic of guitar and its wonderful sound will always be an inheriting part of the lives of past and future generations, a symbol of youth, freedom, friendship, and love.
